BREW + WANDER
Brand Identity Design (conceptual)
COFFEE SHOP CONCEPTThis project came from a monthly design sprint hosted by Curated Collective Co., a community for designers looking to practice working from real-world-style client briefs. The brief: build a brand identity for Brew & Wander, a fictional neighborhood coffee shop with mid-century interiors, a packed patio by 9am, and a folk/indie-alternative soundtrack. The direction was clear — warm, nostalgic, and community-first. Cozy over cold. Personality over polish. No coffee bean icons, no cold minimalist layouts, nothing that felt corporate.

COFFEE BAG MOCKUP, STOREFRONT MOCKUP, STICKERS
The Approach:
I leaned into a warm, sun-faded palette — Crisp Apple orange, Blossom pink, Minty Fresh mint, Sour Apple olive, and Forest green, grounded by Latte and Cream neutrals — pulling from mid-century diner signage, vintage pennants, and hand-lettered shop signs rather than typical coffee-brown cliché. The primary logo pairs a loose, handwritten script ("Brew & Wander") with a clean condensed sans for the "AUS · Coffee Shop · EST 2026" details, giving it that lived-in, hand-painted-storefront feel. A flexible "B&W" monogram — in an oval badge, a pennant flag, and standalone lettering — rounds out the system for smaller applications like cups and stickers.
I picked brand colors that felt like your favorite vintage levis.
