Hi, I'm Emily Ames – the COACH & mentor who's been exactly where you are and found a way to transform her life through online courses and digital products.
My Journey: From Burnout to Breakthrough
Once, I was just like you – a Nutritional Therapist juggling 1:1 coaching, a demanding 9-5 corporate job, and battling chronic illness symptoms. My schedule was unsustainable, my energy was depleted, and I knew something had to change.
In 2016, everything shifted when I discovered the power of passive income and online courses. As an introvert, this was my lightbulb moment – a way to create a business that could work with my nervous system, not against it.
I wasn't just seeking an escape from my corporate job; I was looking for true freedom. A way to heal, to create impact, and to design a lifestyle that supported my well-being.

I guarantee you know enough. You just need to be 1 step ahead of your course students. Many people are looking for simple, step-by-step guidance. They want the information you know now. If there are people out there struggling with an issue you know how to solve... you have a course. A lot of my students think they don't know enough and then when they get in the course & start recording content they actually have TOO many ideas for modules! Sometimes we feel we don't know enough because we surround ourselves with other experts in our field. Sometimes the basics ARE life changing for someone. Your students don't want a PhD in your topic... they want simple and easy to implement suggestions that get them results.

I hate to break it to you, but no one has the time :) There is never a good time to make a course. It takes a lot of upfront work & commitment... BUT you're building it now, so you can have freedom in the future. Many of my students are busy moms, working on a side-business, working a 9-5 WHILE building their course. It is possible. And you can do it on YOUR timeline since it is a self-paced course. Pushing off building your course is just pushing off your dreams to a later date. Whether it takes you 2 months or 2 years, you have to start now.

First of all... You'll never get ANY sales if you don't try... :) This is the benefit of doing the method I teach (a beta test method). You will make sure that people want your course & it is a profitable topic during your beta test. If people are willing to signup for your beta test, chances are they will buy when you go-full launch. It may take some time to work out your messaging & offer, but that's what a beta test is for.... a practice round!! Have fun with the course creation process, take the pressure of yourself, and connect to the people who you truly want to help.

Investing in your business is a decision that only you can make. You know what steps are right to grow your business & what you may need help on. Sometimes it's worth investing in mentors and coaches because they exponentially save you time and money in the long run. Plus... this course gives you tools to MAKE MONEY and get paid upfront for your course!
But I also get that everyone has different financial situations and when you're starting out you may have no money coming in. There are payment plans and buy now, pay later options available to help ease the upfront cost (and again... hopefully you'll be making course sales soon while creating your content!) In addition, think of the TIME you'd be saving if you had to create a course all on your own or learning a new software program. Time is money! I occasionally offer promos and sales, so reach out to see if any are going on right now.

We all have to start somewhere! Stop the comparison game and just focus on getting new followers that are your ideal client. The goal of my method is to build your audience & interest for your course... as you go. Whether you have a huge audience or a small audience, you still need to educate about your course & method, so you might as well get started right away. There is no better way to build an audience than to speak on a specific topic & course you're passionate about. Rip it off like a bandaid. No more excuses :)

Most of my students are confused on which course platform to use so I have included modules and analysis on top course platforms and why I recommend the one I use. You can choose whatever works for you. If you need analysis on another platform not listed in the course, just reach out in the Facebook group and I'll see what I can do. If you still need more click by click tech support to launch your course, you can add on my monthly Tech Hub memberships where I teach you Kartra or Squarespace.

Yes! I give you a master course checklist which will break down step-by-step everything you need to do to create and launch your course. In addition, I give you a 10 week blueprint which takes those steps and divides it into 10 weeks so you know exactly what to focus on to launch. I hear ya, sister! As an introvert with a former fear of public speaking, you're in the right place. First of all, you could technically make a course with just audio OR without your face showing. But, I also challenge you to do some of your content with your face showing. I promise it gets easier as you go (I now don't even think about it!!). Plus, that's the BEAUTY of pre-recorded content. You're in control. You can edit out any bad parts or hit the pause button to take a breather. It's an introverts dream!!
