WOO HOO! HERE IS THE TEMPLATE CUSTOMIZATION PROCESS

My template customization service is designed as a complete brand-to-website experience. Here's what that looks like from start to finish: 🎉

Immediately After Purchase I'll send over your Branding & Design Questionnaire and we'll schedule your kickoff call.

Kickoff Call (45 minutes) We'll align on your vision, goals, and all the details we need to hit the ground running.

PHASE 1

Brand Styling (1–2 weeks) This is where we build your foundation. You'll receive a full moodboard, complete color palette, custom font system, typography hierarchy guide, brand style guide, favicon, and 2–3 website mockup sections so you can see the direction before we build. I'll also put together your Pinterest photoshoot inspiration board so you can bring it straight to your photographer. One round of revisions is included here before we move forward.

PHASE 2

Photoshoot & Content Prep Two things happen here in parallel:

Photography — With your brand direction and Pinterest board in hand, you'll book and complete your photoshoot & can share this information with your photographer. I recommend 8–12 images at least for the site (more is always better!).

Copy Questionnaire — I'll send you a detailed copy questionnaire covering your services, story, ideal client, and anything else I need to write for your site. You can also send over any existing copy you'd like me to work with. From there, I'll use AI tools to draft your full site copy, then you can review and refine it to fit your brand voice once the site is handed over to you at the end. This way, the heavy lifting is done for you — and you'll have the copy to either work with a copyeditor or put into your personal voice after hand off!

The sooner both of these are wrapped up, the sooner we move into the build!

PHASE 3

Template Customization (3–4 weeks) With your brand assets, mockups, photos, and copy in hand, I'll build out the full site — making every section feel cohesive, intentional, and designed to work for your business.

Review & Edits We’ll have a review call plus one round of revisions. This is where you'll see your copy in context on the designed site and can add your personal touch to make it feel completely like you.

Launch & Post-Launch Support I'll connect your domain, scheduler, email list, opt-ins, and any other integrations, then get everything live. Two weeks of email support included after launch.

What I Need From You (Your To-Dos)

Before Our Kickoff Call

  • Complete the Branding & Design Questionnaire I send you. Think about your goals and what you want your site to accomplish

After Our Kickoff Call

  • Start putting any assets into the Google Drive folder I send you - this is where everything will live

  • Send over any existing copy you'd like me to work with

  • Share any logo files you already have

  • Confirm your domain information

  • Provide login credentials or add me as a collaborator for any platforms we're connecting (email marketing, scheduling, etc.)

During Brand Styling (your one action item)

  • Review your brand concepts and provide clear, consolidated feedback within your one round of revisions so we can move forward to the build!

During Phase 2 — Photoshoot & Content Prep

  • Complete the copy questionnaire I send you

  • Book your photoshoot using the Pinterest inspiration board I provide and get your photos to me when they're ready

During the Build

  • Trust the process — I've got this!

  • Stay available for quick questions if they come up

  • If using Acuity, note that I'll connect it to your site but you'll set up your appointments and calendars directly so they're exactly how you want them

Review & Approval

  • Attend our review call

  • Provide clear, consolidated feedback for your one round of revisions

  • Give final approval so we can launch!

After Launch

  • Reach out with any questions during your two-week support window — I'm here!

Setting Expectations

✓ What's Included:

  • Up to 5 Squarespace template pages + a Contact page, customized with your branding. Template purchased separately.

  • One 45-minute strategy call

  • One review call with one round of revisions

  • Two weeks of post-launch email support

  • I don't schedule regular check-ins, but I'll reach out via email, Loom, or a quick call if I need your input. You'll receive updates at key milestones so you always know where things stand.

✓ What Requires Additional Fees:

  • Additional pages beyond 5 — $250/page (Blog, Resources, Podcast, etc.)

  • Course, digital product, or membership site creation — $95/hour

  • Ongoing site management after your two-week support period

  • SEO — available as a separate package through my SEO partner. I'll coordinate everything behind the scenes if you want this additional service.

  • Copyediting - Don’t want to edit your AI-assisted copy on your own? Make it more personalized and hire my copyeditor. I can coordinate this for you if you’d want this additional service.

✓ Platform Fees & Subscriptions:

  • Squarespace Website Plan:
    To publish your site, you'll need an active Squarespace subscription (annual plans offer significant savings over monthly!). SQUARESPACE PRICING

  • Acuity Scheduling (if applicable):
    If you're adding appointment scheduling, Acuity requires a separate subscription. I recommend purchasing it through Squarespace for seamless integration. ACUITY PRICING

    Note: Eventually, you'll handle all platform signups and billing directly to maintain ownership of your accounts. I'm here to guide you through the process. I'll advise you on timing and can walk you through the setup process.. Nothing you need to do on your own just yet!

✓ A note on timing: The total timeline from purchase to launch is typically 6–10 weeks. The build phase begins once I have your approved brand assets and photos — the biggest variable is your photoshoot schedule and gathering all the assets, so booking your photographer early makes a real difference!

✓ On logos: Custom logo design isn't included in the Brand Styling package, but that won't leave you without a strong brand mark. If you have an existing logo, I'll integrate it seamlessly into your new brand system. If you don't have one yet, I'll design a favicon and select a distinctive headline font that functions as a clean, professional brand mark until you're ready to invest in a full logo.
