I'm so excited to bring your vision to life! This guide outlines what you can expect from me and what I'll need from you to create a website you'll absolutely love.

Timeline Overview

Immediately After Purchase: I will send you a branding & Design Questionnaire + schedule our kickoff call
Kickoff Call: We will have a 45-minute strategy session to align on vision, brand, and technical details
Your Prep Time: You will gather and send all assets (copy, branding, images) to me via a Google Drive Folder
My Build Time (3 weeks): 3 full weeks dedicated to customizing your site (starts once I receive ALL your materials)
Review & Edits: Review call + one round of revisions
Post-Launch: Two weeks of email support

Important: The 3-week customization timeline begins when I receive all of your copy, branding assets, and required materials—not from the date of purchase or kickoff call. This means the total timeline from purchase to launch could be 4-6 weeks depending on when you get the materials to me.

What I'll Handle (My To-Dos)

Strategy & Planning

  • Send you a brand & design questionnaire

  • Host a focused 45-minute strategy/kickoff call

  • Define goals and vision for your site

Design & Build

  • Customize your chosen template to match your brand

  • Apply your brand colors and fonts throughout

  • Select and integrate beautiful stock photography (and use any branding photos you provide ideally!)

  • Input all of your copy into the site & move it around as needed to fit with the flow of the site

  • Ensure your site looks beautiful on mobile devices

Technical Setup

  • Connect your custom domain

  • Connect any scheduling systems you need (Acuity can be added right into your Squarespace dashboard!)

  • Connect your email marketing platform

  • Add your freebie/lead magnet to the site

  • Set up checkout or payment systems (if needed)

  • Handle all the backend technical details to get it live!

Review & Launch

  • Deliver your completed site within 3 weeks (or 5-8 weeks if adding brand styling, SEO, or other services)

  • Host a review call to walk through everything together

  • Complete one round of revisions based on your feedback

  • Provide two weeks of email support after launch for any questions

What I Need From You (Your To-Dos)

Before Our Kickoff Call

  • Complete the brand & design questionnaire I send you

  • Think about your goals and what you want your site to accomplish

  • Consider which 5 pages you'd like customized

After Our Kickoff Call (Within 1 Week)

  • Provide finalized copy for all 5 pages

  • Share your brand colors (hex codes) and fonts

  • Send your logo files

  • Share any professional photography you have

  • Create a Google Drive folder with all these assets

  • Provide login credentials or add me as a team member for any separate platforms we're connecting (email marketing, scheduling, if not using Squarespace or Acuity)

  • Confirm your domain information

Build Phase & Review (3 weeks)

NOTE: THE 3 WEEK TIMELINE STARTS WHEN I HAVE ALL OF YOUR MATERIALS

  • Trust the process! I've got this.

  • Be available for quick questions or calls if they arise or if I need you to signup for billing / domains / scheduling tools

  • If using Acuity Scheduling, I’ll connect Acuity to your site but you’ll build out your appointments, calendars to get them exactly how you want them.

  • Attend our review call

  • Provide clear, consolidated feedback for edits for one round of edits

  • Review the edited site and give final approval

After Launch

  • Reach out with any questions during your 2-week support period

Setting Expectations

✓ What's Included:

  • Up to 5 Squarespace Template pages + a Contact Page customized with your branding with the template of your choice. Template purchased separately.

  • One 45-minute strategy call

  • One review call with one round of edits

  • Two weeks of post-launch email support to request training videos or get your questions answered

  • While I don't schedule regular check-in calls upfront, I'll reach out if I need clarification or your input on anything. This might be a quick email, a Loom video, or occasionally a brief call to walk through things together. You'll also receive updates at key milestones, so you're never left wondering where things stand.

✓ What Requires Additional Fees:

  • More than 5 pages ($250 per additional page - Blog, Resources, Podcast etc). You can always come back to add on more pages down the road when your business grows!

  • Course, digital products, or membership site creation - $95 / hour

  • Ongoing site management after your 2-week support period

  • Above & beyond training videos or support

  • SEO Packages - Can be purchased separately from me to work with my SEO partner. I’ll coordinate behind the scenes!

✓Timeline Note:

  • The 3-week build timeline begins once I receive all of your content and assets, so gathering your materials quickly helps us launch sooner!

✓ Platform Fees & Subscriptions:

  • Squarespace Website Plan:
    To publish your site, you'll need an active Squarespace subscription (annual plans offer significant savings over monthly!). SQUARESPACE PRICING

  • Acuity Scheduling (if applicable):
    If you're adding appointment scheduling, Acuity requires a separate subscription. I recommend purchasing it through Squarespace for seamless integration. ACUITY PRICING

    Note: Eventually, you'll handle all platform signups and billing directly to maintain ownership of your accounts. I'm here to guide you through the process. I'll advise you on timing and can walk you through the setup process.. Nothing you need to do on your own just yet!

✓ Branding Requirements:

  • Professional Photography:
    For the most cohesive, branded look, I recommend having 8-12 professional photos. This provides enough variety to feature throughout your site without repetition. I can send you a photoshoot guide or Pinterest inspiration!

  • Brand Identity:
    This service requires established brand assets (colors, fonts, logo). If you haven't invested in professional branding yet, I encourage you to add my Brand Styling package or reach out if you're unsure whether your current branding is ready. I'm happy to review what you have and advise on next steps.
